Do you want a healthy marriage? It needs to be guided by a set of healthy habits. In this brand-new on-demand video conference, pastor, marriage counselor, and best-selling author Dr. Paul David Tripp will detail the healthy habits required for a beautiful marriage while identifying the toxic habits that need to be uprooted. Check the Marriage Conference website for more info. Contact Joe Raley for details or to sign up. Child care and lunch will be provided.
We are having a one day pottery class for all RICC ladies!
It will be in the Jaesong area on April 13th from 10am-12pm.
The cost will be 20,000-25,000 won depending on how many ladies join.
We will also have lunch afterward in the same area.
Contact Yujin for more information.
Here is the (Korean) website for the class: www.sodamhada.co.kr
Representatives of Redeemer (as well as other organizations) will be on-site while the new international students are moving in to the dormitories, giving them information about our church and inviting them to join us. If you are able to give some of your time on Thursday night and would like to be part of this outreach, please contact Micah for details..
Bring a pot of your favorite chili recipe to share with everyone after church. Spicy is OK — we can organize them in terms of spice level on the serving tables. Side dishes (such as corn bread, sour cream, cheese, etc.) are welcome too!
Lunch will be provided. Please talk to Joe Raley to sign up.
Childcare will also be available during this time. Please indicate whether or not this is required when you sign up for the seminar, so that we have sufficient volunteers available.
Mercer’s will be arriving on Thursday, Oct 4 at 8:35pm.
A group of RICC people are planning to meet them at the airport to welcome them to Busan and our church family. Knowing they will be tired, we will see them off on their way to their apartment quickly after their arrival.
If you would like to join the meeting crew, please contact Joe Raley.
Following the service, we will be going to a Wedding Buffet near KSU metro station to celebrate the summer wedding in France of our members Deve and Ornella.
The cost for each attendee is 20,000W. All extra monetary contributions will be pooled and given to the couple as a wedding gift. We encourage everyone to also write out a blessing for them.
If you would like to attend, please contact Joshua Garland no later than Thursday, September 27.
We will be moving everything over from the existing Millak location to the new KSU location, as well as working on the move-out cleaning of our old Millak space.
Our existing landlord has arranged for a moving truck for us to help with any larger items.
If you also have a car and can bring it that day to help out, that would be appreciated!
We will be sorting and packing through the church’s things on Sunday after the service, in preparation for the move during the week.
RICC Changwon will be bringing us burritos for lunch, and taking away many of the things we no longer require for our campus.
Fat Crayon Service: Grand Finale of the Sermon on the Mount
This week we'll be having a very unique service as we finish the SotM series and everything we've explored in the last 6 months of this iconic and weighty passage of scripture.
Rob will be heading up the service. RICC attenders are heartily encouraged to share what the Lord has spoken to them throughout the series in any way they'd like, from a short speech to painting to a dance to reading scripture. If you would like to serve, Rob is willing to work with you to develop your vision.
Please talk to Rob if you would like to contribute an artistic talent, read scripture, or somehow contribute to our grand finale! (There's also a signup sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1SR-WRvdw4lxy0SXzmXT50Stkc-jOOIio6No8x-pAxL8/edit#gid=0)
The service will be at the normal time of 11:00 am.
We will be meeting to decide on the changing of the church's location. Help make this critical decision!
And as always, if you would like to become a member, talk to one of the leadership, preachers, or front desk people for more information, plus pick up a membership packet from the front desk.
We're having a clean-up day on Wednesday, August 15 (Korean Independence Day). Celebrate your independence by voluntarily signing your afternoon away to be a slave to God's mission! :)
Cleaning will get started at 10:00am. Feel free to bring any supplies you need to get the job done, such as wipes, sprays, or gloves. After a few hours of hard labor, we will serve/get lunch around 12:00 noon, and then end by 4:00pm.
Thank you in advance to those willing to give up their free day to help clean our (slightly) messy church!
Come join us for a Bible trivia and game night at the church! All welcome, whether regular attenders or not. Age is flexible and this event is meant for all those still young at heart (and between the ages of 18ish and 35ish).
Bring games and snacks to share! Let's have some fun!
